Purpose & Goals

The website I plan to develop is for my sister, a dedicated pediatrician. This will be an excellent opportunity for her, as she currently does not have a website to support her practice. A professional online presence will help her attract more patients, increase her exposure, and grow her practice. For me, this is an excellent opportunity to improve my skills and abilities in developing website projects, preparing the way for future job opportunities. It will allow me to showcase my expertise with website generators like WordPress, gain valuable hands-on experience, and add a standout project to my portfolio.

The purpose of the website will be to generate reliable and accessible information for parents, highlight her qualifications and expertise, showcase the services she provides, offer a convenient way of booking online, write articles about common seasonal childhood illness and treatments, provide information about scheduling vaccinations, build trust and credibility with testimonials and share updates of events.

The goals of the website will include increasing the number of new patients registrations, reduce administrative workload by offering online appointment scheduling and increase exposure and visibility with SEO strategies.

I envision her website with a minimalistic, neutral colors and simple theme. Included some professional photos of herself and interesting articles to complement the website.

In conclusion, the website will help increase accessibility for parents and patients, enhance professional credibility and add the project for my own portfolio.
